Under sprawling blue skies, surrounded by the imposing Blue Ridge Mountains, James Charles Winery & Vineyards provides a dramatic, modern, yet classic venue for your special day. Sitting on 100 acres on the banks of the Shenandoah River in Virginia, this winery is a place where, in their words, “classic charm marries modern elegance.” It’s easy to see why: the sunsets are spectacular, the rolling vineyards stretch as far as you can see, and orchards abound, adding a peaceful, country note to the ambience. The winery offers three venues and can accommodate up to 150 guests. The Mountain Terrace is ideal for smaller ceremonies, and you can host a lively reception on the lawn. The salon provides an option for indoor ceremonies, and boasts regal glass doors. With such a polished and playful atmosphere, you’re sure to have the perfect day at James Charles Winery.

Venue notes

The rental fee is $3,800 for a reception and ceremony and includes 8 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $500/hr. A refundable security deposit of $250 is required.
